Résumé

Home care aides have been called the core of the home care industry. They spend up to three times more time with clients and their families than other health care professionals, and are often with the patients until death occurs. Results from a survey of aides' feelings about the death of their patient point to the need for timely acknowledgment and affirmation of the aides' grief and feelings of loss.
